COPI enters partnership with investors – ready to build a larger real estate portfolio

June 27, 2025

“We’re looking for value-add properties in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg with the potential to be reimagined for modern use — whether that’s offices, homes, student housing, or hotels. We take on projects where we can make a real architectural and functional impact and bring buildings into a contemporary context,” says CEO, Peter Julius Jensen.

The ambition is to grow a property portfolio valued at around one billion DKK over the coming years, underpinned by a long-term and responsible investment strategy.

The first project is already underway. The former lamp factory at Nordre Fasanvej 108 in Frederiksberg is currently undergoing a full transformation and will reopen as a modern office building in early 2026.

The partnership strengthens COPI’s foundation and capacity. The company continues under the same name, with the same leadership — Peter Julius Jensen as CEO and Maria Brunander Vøgg as COO. The strategy is rooted in the transformation of existing buildings at attractive addresses, always with respect for the architecture and the story each building carries.

“This new setup doesn’t change the way we work. But with more resources behind us, we can approach projects on a larger, more ambitious scale. Our focus remains on developing high-quality properties with integrity — and managing them with a long-term perspective,” adds Maria Brunander Vøgg.

COPI continues to work with a sharp focus on preserving and reviving the city’s architectural heritage. We create properties that respect the past and meet the needs of the future — all from our headquarters on Kronprinsessegade.
